God is always with me!

MEMORY VERSE
“God is with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9 NLT

Morning time

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle
them and say: “Good morning, [child’s
name]! Today, we are going to [name places
you will go], and wherever we go, God is
always with you and God is always with
me!”

Cuddle time

Cuddle with your child and ask them to
help you pray by naming places: “Dear God,
thank You for being with me when I go to
[name of place]. (Keep going as long as your
child can name places.) God, it makes us
feel very loved to know that You are always
with us.”

Drive time

While on the go, take turns naming places
as you pass them (or think of them). Each
time someone names a place, ask, “Is God
with us at (name of place)?” And then
answer together, “Yes, God is always with
me!”

Bath time

Add bubbles to bath time. Help your child
use the bubbles to make a lion’s mane
around their face. As your child pretends
to be a lion, talk about how, in the Bible,
Daniel was put in a den with real lions. But
God was with Daniel! God sent an angel to
shut the lions’ mouths.
